Time: 7:00 – 9:00 pm

LITE Lab@HKU, in conjunction with HKU Law and Technology Centre, is pleased to host the Hyperledger Hong Kong Meetup with Nathan George, CTO of Sovrin Foundation and Maintainer of Hyperledger Indy, as part of its Global Blockchain and DLT Leadership Series.
Digital identity is increasingly being seen as a core element of fintech and smart cities, and decentralised identity or self-sovereign identity is designed to put the identity control in the hands of the user.
Mr George is CTO of Sovrin Foundation, which is seeking to create a global public utility for self-sovereign identity, and is in Hong Kong as part of the first ever Hyperledger Bootcamp in Asia Pacific. Hyperledger is a blockchain project under the Linux Foundation. To learn more about the open source Hyperledger Indy focussed on decentralised identity, see https://youtu.be/MnO2L6WoqD0
This event is an official side event of Hong Kong Blockchain Week.
