LITE Lab@HKU, in conjunction with HKU Law and Technology Centre and Department of Computer Science, is pleased to host Charles Hoskinson, Founder of IOHK/Cardano and Co-Founder of Ethereum, as part of its Global Blockchain and DLT Leadership Series.

Charles is a blockchain pioneer and innovator, having founded three cryptocurrency-related start-ups – Invictus Innovations, Ethereum and IOHK – and was the founding chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation’s education committee. Cardano is an open source public blockchain based on proof of stake consensus algorithm, and its ADA token is currently the 12th largest cryptocurrency by market cap. Charles is a man of conviction, and is a vocal supporter of Ethereum Classic created after the DAO fork. His views on computational law, distributed autonomous organisations and smart contracts promise to be very insightful, and we look forward to also  hearing about how Hong Kong became part of his company’s name Input-Output Hong Kong!
