Senior Research Assistant in the Law and Technology Centre of the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 201601149) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)

The Law and Technology Centre promotes cutting-edge, multi-disciplinary research in the intersection between law and technology and furthers the relevant knowledge exchange and policy development.  The Centre has hosted many leading international conferences on information technology law and intellectual property.

Applicants should hold postgraduate law degrees and have research experience in intellectual property and/or information technology law.  They should be fluent in written and spoken English and have the ability to work through effective teamwork. Proficiency in Chinese would be an advantage but is not required. The appointee will handle a broad range of exciting research activities such as editing a new blog on intellectual property law, planning and preparing research grant applications, conducting research independently in preparation for publications, as well as planning and organizing research seminars and conferences for the Centre.
